Trojans Post Fourth-Best Score in Program History
ST. LOUIS – The Taylor competitive cheer program continued its season at the Missouri Baptist Showcase on Saturday with the Trojans taking fourth place out of seven teams at the single-performance event.
The Trojans showed strong improvement in their timing and showmanship scores, improving on their season-opening scores in those areas from one week prior and posting a team score of 83.45.
That mark of 83.45 gave Taylor its fourth-highest team score in program history and a second-straight mark above 80 this season.
TU now boasts eight scores above 80 in its young program's history, with two of those outings coming in three performances this season.
Taylor will look to continue its momentum when it competes at Indiana Wesleyan on February 9 and 10.
