The Trojans dominated the first 35 minutes of the game before a late comeback attempt by the Harriers. Miami-Hamilton cut the lead to seven with just over a minute remaining until Jackson Ullom answered with an and-one layup that sealed the contest for TU and gave him 11 points on the evening.
Taylor (3-2) quickly stretched an 11-point halftime lead to 17 off of a pair of triples from Fuhrmann after Caleb Hodgson scored the first four points out of the break as part of his ten points.
The largest lead of the night came when Gavin Yoon splashed a triple to create a 52-34 advantage six minutes into the second frame.
Taylor led almost the entire game, trailing for under two minutes at the beginning of the contest before a 14-4 run highlighted by two slams from Webb created a comfortable edge that lasted the entire night.
The size up front for TU led to a commanding advantage in the paint, notching 32 points against 20 for Miami-Hamilton. TU shot over 60 percent from two-point land and 40 percent from beyond the arc for a season-best 54.9 field goal percentage, which marks the third consecutive game in which the Trojans shot 50 percent or better from the field.
