Craig Makes History as TU’s First Lacrosse All-American
KANSAS CITY – Aidan Craig capped his record-setting career with another piece of history, as the senior attacker was recently named a NAIA Second-Team All-American. The All-American honor is the first in the young history of the Taylor men's lacrosse program.
Craig closed his career with his finest season, leading the Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference in points and assists during the regular season and setting new TU and WHAC records with 71 assists and 4.73 assists per game.
In addition to 71 helpers, Craig added nine goals of his own to end with 80 points and also set a career-high with 16 caused turnovers.
Those statistics led the way to Craig being named the WHAC Offensive Player of the Year and a First-Team All-WHAC standout.
Craig closed his career with 191 assists, 50 goals and 241 points in his 51 games played and with the Taylor and WHAC records for most assists in a single game, a single season and a career.
