OUR PLEDGE
We pledge that every boy who attends the Taylor Basketball Camp:
-Will be taught the basic fundamentals of the game of basketball with emphasis on individualized instruction.
-Will be selected on a team in his own age group and have a chance to play a complete league schedule.
-Will have the best care in food, housing facilities, and training rooms.
-Will be encouraged in their faith through instruction, Taylor Basketball testimonies from players and staff, and nightly devotions from the Bible.
-Will be given a camp basketball shirt.
-Will have close supervision at all times.
-Will experience a week of camp full of productive learning, competition and fun in a Christian based atmosphere.
TAYLOR BASKETBALL CAMP MISSION STATEMENT
While it is our intent that our camp continues to be one of the best anywhere when it comes to teaching the basic skills and concepts of basketball, it is also our purpose to model and represent the highest of Christian values for your son throughout his time with us.
We will do this by having Christian counselors trained in coaching and relational skills. The guest speakers we present will be people with spiritual values that are apparent in their performances. Campers will receive personal attention from their coaches and will be closely supervised at all times.
It is not possible to master the game of basketball in a week, just as life skills are not developed in that time, but we will plant the seeds for a lifetime of success.
