The Trojans have started picking up awards and honors for the 2025-2026 year. TU has already garnered 39 Crossroads League and MSFA Player-of-the-Week awards, six NAIA National Athlete-of-the-Week honors, eight NAIA All-American honors, 44 all-league awards, one individual NAIA National Championship, one individual Crossroads League Championship, one league player of the year, one National Athlete of the Year, 82 NAIA Scholar-Athlete awards and 15 CSC Academic All-District selections and two CSC Academic All-Americans.
TU has claimed one team championship, with its women's cross country team taking a 13th-straight Crossroads League Championship.
Taylor took home its third-ever team NAIA National Championship, with women's cross country claiming the red banner for the second time in four years. The TU men's and women's cross country program also combined to with the NAIA Combined National Championship for a second time with the men's fifth-place finish.
Taylor's teams have also had some early success against Top-25 foes, with the volleyball program taking down No. 11 Montana Western, No. 13 Mount Vernon Nazarene, No. 19 Missouri Baptist, No. 23 Spring Arbor and RV Grace, and football defeating RV Saint Francis (IL). Women's soccer also got in on the action, taking down No. 11 Central Methodist, No. 11 Aquinas and No. 18 Campbellsville, while drawing with No. 3 Marian and No. 16 Grace and the men's soccer team played to draws with No. 7 Bethel. No. 19 Marian and No. 20 Grace. Women's basketball also joined the fun with a wins over No. 13 Indiana Wesleyan and RV Olivet Nazarene, while men's basketball took out No. 1 Indiana Wesleyan and No. 11 Bethel.
Taylor has also logged some memorable achievements already, with men's soccer matching its best six-game start (5-1-0) since 2012 and women's soccer matching its best-ever start at 9-0 with six shutout wins, climbing to No. 14 in the NAIA Top-25 for its highest rank in program history, tying a program record with 14 wins and setting a program record with 12 shutouts, before advancing to the NAIA National Championships Quarterfinals with a Second Round win for the first time ever. The men's cross country program posted its fastest 8k time in program history and the football team broke its single-game record for total offensive yards at Judson (641) and again at Lawrence Tech (651), while logging back-to-back winning seasons for the first time since 2009 and 2010 and posting the second-highest two-year win total (16) in program history. Football also rebroke its single-season record for yards and points scored. Women's basketball posted its best start (13-0) since 2019-2020.
The TU coaches have also earned recognition, with Quinn White being named the Crossroads League Women's Cross Country Coach of the Year for a 13th-straight time, the USTFCCCA NAIA Great Lakes Region Women's Cross Country Coach of the Year for a sixth time, the USTFCCCA NAIA Women's Cross Country Coach of the Year, and the NAIA National Coach of the Year for a third time overall. Aaron Mingo was also named the MSFA Mideast League Coach of the Year for a second-straight season.
TU also has had 10 teams ranked or receiving votes in a NAIA Poll, with women's cross country, men's cross country, volleyball, women's soccer, men's golf, women's golf and baseball earning Top-25 rankings, and with football, men's basketball and women's basketball receiving votes.
Taylor has had four teams get a taste of postseason play, with men's and women's cross country, women's soccer and volleyball all competing in a league championship event. One team has hosted a league postseason event, with volleyball hosting the CL Tournament Quarterfinals.
Four teams have advanced to compete at the NAIA Nationals, with men's and women's cross country, women's soccer and volleyball all qualifying. Of those teams, two were selected to host at least one round in the NAIA National Championships, with volleyball hosting the Opening Round and women's soccer hosting the Second Round. Women's cross country won its second NAIA National Championship in four years, with men's cross country taking fifth and women's soccer advancing to the NAIA Championships Quarterfinals for the first time in program history.
