- Co-captain in both his junior and senior seasons
- Participated in Sport Mission Outreach to 20 countries
- After graduating from Taylor, played with Athletes in Action and also had a professional basketball career that included time in France and with the Tampa Bay Thrillers of the Continental Basketball Association
- Went on to become a successful high school basketball coach
