
Taylor Baseball Collects 13 NAIA Scholar-Athletes

KANSAS CITY – No. 17 Taylor baseball had an outstanding season both on the diamond and in the classroom, as it collected 13 NAIA Scholar-Athlete awards for the 2024 season. The NAIA released its 2024 Baseball Scholar-Athletes on May 23.
Earning the honors for TU were Ben Kennedy, Brayden Manning, Conner Miller, Drew Loy, Fletcher Roemmich, Jack Ross, Jake Boyer, Joe Lokos, Kade Kolpien, Kaleb Kolpien, Mason David, Micah Long and Sam Gladd.
The 13 NAIA Scholar-Athletes collected by the Trojans tied for the most (Grace) of any baseball team in the Crossroads League this season.
To be eligible for the honor, NAIA Scholar-Athletes must maintain a cumulative minimum grade-point average of 3.50 on a 4.0 scale, while having attended one full year at their current institution.
