AVON, Ohio – For the third time this season Taylor junior Alec Dutkowski has been named the Crossroads League Men's Golfer of the Week, the league office announced on Monday.
Dutkowski continues to collect hardware during his junior campaign as the All-American collected his seventh collegiate victory with a four-shot win at the Pilot Invitational over the weekend.
Dutkowski posted a two-round total of 1-under 143 (73-70) en route to the victory at the Pilot Invitational played at Blackthorn Golf Club. Dutkowski's strong play lifted the 12th-ranked Taylor men's golf team to the team title at Blackthorn as well as the Trojans dominated the 13-team field en route to a 14-shot victory.
Dutkowski also posted a top-15 finish at the Redhawk Invitational in Athens, Alabama earlier last week after firing rounds of 73-75 to finish in 14th place.
This is the third Crossroads League Golfer of the Week honor for Dutkowski this season and the sixth of his collegiate career.
