
Trio of Trojans Earn PING All-Region Honors

NORMAN, Okla. – The Taylor trio of Alec Dutkowski, Mitch Lamping, and Trey Turner were named to the PING All-North Region team by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
The trio from Taylor were part of the 15-man PING North All-Region team which consists of players selected by the Golf Coaches Association of America committee from the Crosssroads League, Heart of America, Great Plains Athletic Conference, Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference, American Midwest Conference, and the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference.
Dutkowski, a junior from Wakarusa, Indiana, earned NAIA All-American honors for the third straight year after leading the Trojans with a 71.4 scoring average in 30 competitive rounds this season. The two-time Crossroads League Player of the Year also earned All-Crossroads League honors this season. This is the third straight season Dutkowski has earned PING All-Region honors.
Lamping, a senior from Liberty Township, Ohio, earned the PING All-Region honor for the first time in his career following a stellar senior season. Lamping posted a 72.7 scoring average in 30 competitive rounds and collected eight top-4 finishes in 13 tournaments. Lamping also earned All-Crossroads League honors for the third straight season.
Turner, a senior from Bedford, Indiana, was selected to the PING All-Region team for the third straight season after posting a 74.4 scoring average in 29 competitive rounds this year. Turner, an All-Crossroads League player for the third straight season as well, collected six top-10 finishes in 12 tournaments this season.
Each of the will now be considered for PING All-American honors which will be announced next month.
