MISHAWAKA, Ind. – Justin Devlin scored three minutes into the action, but No. 15 Bethel scored four unanswered goals to bring a 4-1 defeat upon the Trojans on Saturday evening.
Devlin found the back of the net first in the match, with Jeremy Rivera providing his first assist in Purple and Gray. Devlin's goal was his fourth of the year and seventh in two years at Taylor.
Bethel (11-4-2, 4-4-0 CL) answered with two goals in the first half to take the lead and take control of the match.
The Trojans (5-7-3, 1-5-2 CL) struggled to find much offense throughout, firing two more shots on frame, both of which were saved.
The Pilots found the back of the net two more times after the break to extend their lead and put the match out of reach.
