
TU Men Open 2025 CL Indoor Track and Field Championships

UPLAND, Ind. – The 2025 Crossroads League Indoor Track and Field Championships got underway on TU's campus on Friday, with the Trojans scoring points in three events to head into Saturday's action in fifth place.
Josh Forbes scored the best individual finish of the day for Taylor by taking fourth in the pole vault with a height of 4.75 meters to collect five points.
TU scored another fourth-place showing in the distance-medley relay, as Bryce Noble, Ethan Morgan, Bradley Braxton and Joel Mumaw teamed for a time of 10:19.16 to provisionally qualify for Nationals.
The final points of the day came from Zach McWatters, who took seventh in the 5,000-meters for two points. McWatters crossed with a time of 15:49.65.
Spencer Stout also turned in a strong performance, posting a time of 8.73 seconds in the 60-meter hurdle prelims to advance into Saturday's finals.
Taylor will have a full slate of events on Saturday, as it enters the final day just seven points off pace of a top-three finish.
