Trojan Men Ranked No. 22 in Latest NAIA Top-25 Poll
UPLAND, Ind. – The second in-season NAIA Top-25 Poll was released on Thursday, in which the Taylor (45-21) men's cross-country squad was ranked 22nd.
The Trojans raced in a highly competitive race in the Louisville Cross Country Classic on Saturday, September 30, notching a 19th-place finish out of 46 teams. TU defeated three team who are receiving votes in the latest poll in RV Lewis Clark State, RV Marian, and RV Cornerstone.
Nathan Burns continued to pace the Trojans finishing 19th with a time of 25:10.3. Luke Harber was the second Taylor runner to cross the finish line for a third-consecutive race with a time of 25:31.8.
The Crossroads League has five total teams in the rankings with No. 1 Indiana Wesleyan, No. 13 Grace, No. 14 Goshen, and No. 25 Huntington joining Taylor.
The Trojans' next race comes on Saturday, October 21, at the Blazing Tiger NAIA Classic, in Omaha, Nebraska, which is set to begin at 9:00 am.
