Bio

The 2023-2024 season is the sixth for Cassidy Wyse as an assistant with the TU woman’s basketball program, after remaining in Upland following her four-year career for the Trojans in 2018.

As an assistant coach, Wyse has helped the Trojans to a pair of 30-win campaigns with two trips deep into the NAIA Tournament.

Wyse opened her playing career at Taylor with an impressive rookie season, pulling in the All-Crossroads League Freshman-of-the-Year Award. The forward’s success did not end there, notching the eighth-most points in program history, as one of only 10 players to reach the 1,500-point club for the Trojans. Wyse collected many honors for her superb play, including four All-Crossroads League honors and TU’s Natalie Steele Award, recognizing Taylor’s top female senior student-athlete for excellence in competition, academics and character.

Wyse graduated from Taylor in 2018 with a degree in mathematics education and was selected for CoSIDA Academic All-District, NAIA Scholar-Athlete and Academic All-Crossroads League honors for her excellent work in the classroom.
