Grimm Named CL Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week

JACKSON, Mich. – Audrey Grimm of the RV Taylor women's soccer team received offensive player of the week honors, as announced by the Crossroads League Monday afternoon for Sept. 18-24.

Grimm earned the award following a week in which she tallied two eventual game-winning goals across two matches. The junior's penalty kick put the Trojans on the board in a 4-0 win at home over Georgetown on Tuesday, Sept. 19. She then backed up her performance during Saturday's CL-opening, 5-1 win at Saint Francis by scoring another eventual game-winning goal early in the second half of play.

Grimm's week pushed her season-long points total to nine, as she needs just one more point to reach double digits for the third consecutive season. 

RV Taylor (6-1-2, 1-0-0 CL) is back in CL action on Wednesday, Sept. 27, when it hosts Grace (2-6-0, 0-1-0) at 7 p.m.
