Women’s Track and Field Surges to No. 22 in Outdoor Ratings
USTFCCCA Ratings Index
NEW ORLEANS – The Taylor women's indoor track and field climbed into the top 25 of the USTFCCCA NAIA ratings index for the first time during the outdoor season after competing in the Crossroads League Championships.
The Trojans hauled in 17 All-Crossroads League honors spread over nine events at the league meet and added one new school record to go with eight national-qualifying marks over the two-day event.
For the regular season, Taylor saw seven different athletes hit at least one A-standard mark in an individual event or as part of a relay and set three new program records.
Taylor will look to increase the number of qualifiers at a couple of Last Chance Meets before heading across the county to Marion, Indiana for the NAIA National Championships hosted by Indiana Wesleyan.
