
VanderWall Secures Crossroads League Runner-of-the-Week Award

JACKSON, Mich. – The Crossroads League announced its athletes of the week on Monday afternoon, in which Noel VanderWall secured the women's cross country runner of the week award for the first time this season.
VanderWall led the Trojans in the Blazing Tiger NAIA Classic, where she finished third out of 287 runners. VanderWall was up against runners from six other ranked schools, including five teams in the top eight. The sophomore ran a program-best time of 21:07.3, which led the way for a program-best team time of 1:50:16.
VanderWall's honor marks the second of her career, after winning it once during her freshman season and the eighth for a TU athlete thus far into the 2023-2024 athletic year.
The No. 1 Taylor women's cross country team is back in action on Friday, November 3, in the Crossroads League Championships at home in Upland, Indiana, with the women looking to secure their 11th-straight CL Title. The women's race is set to commence at 10:30 am.
