
Gamble and VanderWall Secure NAIA All-American Honor

KANSAS CITY – The No. 5 Taylor women's cross country squad (117-8) capped an incredible year with a fifth-place finish at the NAIA National Championships on Friday, November 17. Mollie Gamble and Noel VanderWall each earned NAIA All-American status for the Trojans.
All-American status is awarded to any individual who finishes within the top 40 overall runners at the national championship meet.
Taylor has picked up 22 NAIA All-Americans in program history, with over half of them coming in the past three seasons.
A Senior, Gamble, led the Trojans with an impressive fourth-place finish and a time of 21:40.2. The All-American honor is the second of her career after earning her first a season ago.
VanderWall, a sophomore, also captured her second NAIA All-American award after finishing in 31st, with a time of 22:25.9. VanderWall has earned All-American honors in each of her first two seasons running for TU.
