• Led TU men's basketball program for 34 seasons from 1979 through 2013
• Retired as the winningest college basketball coach in the state of Indiana with 734 victories
• Posted .662 win percentage for career, with 14 NAIA National Tournament trips, 12 Coach-of-the-Year honors, a pair of NAIA Sweet 16 appearances and one NAIA Tournament Final Four during the 1990-1991 season
• Member of the NAIA, Indiana Basketball, Grant County, Hammond Sports and Hanover College Hall of Fames
• Named the NAIA National Coach of the Year in 1991
• Saw each of his four-year players go on to earn a college degree while at Taylor
