No. 19 Taylor Baseball Tabbed to Win Crossroads League
JACKSON, Mich. – 19th-ranked Taylor was selected as the favorites to win the Crossroads League regular season in the league's 2025 Baseball Preseason Poll, released Friday.
TU has won back-to-back regular season crowns, and it returns six All-Crossroads League performers from 2024.
The Trojans swept the CL's Coach, Pitcher and Player of the Year Awards a season ago with Kyle Gould, Gabel Pentecost and Mason David, respectively, claiming the honors.
That trio returns in 2025 as the team looks for a fourth consecutive 40-win season under the direction of Gould.
Taylor's season begins Friday evening with an 8 p.m. EST tilt versus Benedictine Mesa at the Gene Autry Baseball Complex in Mesa, Arizona. Crossroads League play for the No. 19 Trojans opens on Feb. 27 versus Grace at Winterholter Field.
