
Taylor Posts Top Scores of Season, Takes Third at CL Championships
INDIANAPOLIS – It was yet another banner day for the Taylor competitive cheer program on Saturday at the 2024 Crossroads League Championships, as the Trojans posted their highest marks of the season en route to a third-place team finish.
Taylor opened the morning with a season-best mark of 84.33 in the preliminary round to top Indiana Wesleyan with the second-highest score of the round.
That season-high did not last long, as the Trojans followed it with an 84.98 in the finals for a new season-best and ended the competition with a third-place score of 84.82.
In addition to posting the top-two marks of its season, Taylor's posted the third and fifth-best scores in program history and secured a second-straight third-place showing at the CL Championships.
The league competition brought an end to Taylor's fourth season as a program, as the Trojans closed the year with eight-straight scores of 80.8 and above.
