Trojans Open Season with Strong Performance at IWU

MARION, Ind. – The Taylor competitive cheer program opened its fifth season with a second-place showing at the Indiana Wesleyan Wildcat Weekend on Friday.

The Trojans posted a score of 81.63 in their first outing of the season, trailing IWU by just 2.23 points for the top spot in the five-team field.

TU's score of 81.63 marks the highest season-opening score in program history, setting the tone for the Trojans.

Taylor will head to Saint Louis for its next competition, performing at the Missouri Baptist Spartan Showcase on February 1.
