
Taylor Cheer Collects Four NAIA Scholar-Athlete Honors
KANSAS CITY – The Taylor University competitive cheer program saw four student-athletes named as NAIA Scholar-Athletes on Wednesday.
Taylor was represented on the list by Claire Grey, Audrey Long, Emma Mounsey and David Musser.
To be eligible for NAIA Scholar-Athlete recognition, as student-athlete must maintain a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or above on a 4.0 scale, while having attended at least one full year at their current institution.
In addition to picking up four NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors, the TU cheer program has posted its three highest scores in program history over its last three performances.
The Trojans will return to action on Saturday, March 1 with a home competition starting at 11:00 am.
