RV Taylor Begins Spring Season at Baker Invitational
LAWRENCE, Kan. – The 2025 spring season opened for RV Taylor on Monday with the first round of the Baker Invitational. The Trojans fired a team score of 303 to finish 18 holes in second place in the 10-team field.
Matthew Albright and Tanner Conklin led TU's five-man lineup by carding opening-round scores of 75 to land in an eight-way tie for seventh on the individual leaderboard. Porter Dick finished one shot back of that duo with a 76 and Will Schuitema shot a 77.
Taylor will open Tuesday's final round 12 shots back of Park for the lead, while holding a three shot lead over Grand View and a six shot leave over Baker.
