Dale Shines in Florida with Three Goals in TU’s Opener

BABSON PARK, Fla. – Jackson Dale led Taylor in its 2024 men's lacrosse season-opener at Webber International with three goals, but the Trojans could not keep pace in an eventual 21-4 setback.

Taylor scored once in each quarter, with Dale's first strike tying the match at 1-1, before the hosts (1-0) scored the next eight to take control.

Dale scored the first three goals of the season for the Trojans, with Aidan Craig assisting on one and the other two scores being unassisted. TU's final tally came from Will Saxby in the closing moments of the contest.

Taylor was outshot by a 47-33 count in the game and lost 21-of-29 faceoffs.

TU (0-1) will continue its January trip with a clash at SCAD-Savannah (0-0) on January 27 at 1:00 pm.
