
Henson Nets Second-Team All-Crossroads Honor

JACKSON, Mich. – Graduate senior Ava Henson landed a spot on the All-Crossroads League Second Team, as announced by the league in its yearly honors, released Wednesday. It is the third time in her career Henson has been recognized as an end-of-season All-CL performer, including her second-team nod following the 2023-24 season.
Henson started every game for the Trojans in 2024-25 for the third consecutive season, and the guard led TU in scoring with 14.6 points per contest, as well as in field goals, three-point field goals and free throws made.
The Westfield, Indiana, native also finished second on the squad in both assists and steals, while leading a strong season for the Trojans at the charity stripe with her 83.1 free-throw shooting percentage.
Henson notched eight games on the season with at least 20 points to total 18 games throughout her career in which she reached that mark.
The fifth-year player concludes her career sitting 14th on the program's all-time scoring leaders at 1,391 points. She also boasts career totals of 401 rebounds, 246 assists and 135 steals.
