
Stidom Earns Second Crossroads League Weekly Honor

HARTFORD CITY, Ind. – Kyle Stidom helped Taylor close its 2014-2015 season with wins over Goshen and Huntington and has been selected as the Crossroads League Player of the Week for men's basketball.
Stidom averaged 20.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steals per game in the two victories and piled up 50 points, 20 rebounds, 10 assists and three steals over Taylor's three games, which also included a loss at Bethel.
Stidom posted 10 points and six assists in the loss at No. 12 Bethel on Tuesday, notched a 15-point, 11-rebound double-double in TU's 76-61 win over Goshen on Thursday and capped the week with 25 points, seven boards, three assists, one block and a steal in a thrilling, 75-72, Senior Day victory against Huntington on Saturday.
For the week, the junior guard averaged 16.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.0 steals per game, while shooting 51.9 percent from the floor and 85.0 percent from the charity stripe.
The honor is the second of the season for Stidom, who along with Jesse Coffey, combined to give the Trojans a trio of Crossroads League Player-of-the-Week awards during the 2014-2015 campaign.
