27th-Annual Silent Night Celebrated by National Media
UPLAND, Ind. – The recently completed 27th-Annual Ivanhoes Silent Night once again delivered a memorable night of basketball, court rushing, costumes, skits, celebrity lookalikes, music singalongs and more as Taylor cruised to a 107-59 win in front of a sold out Odle Arena crowd to improve to 26-1 all-time on Silent Night.
TU's unique tradition also delivered a pile of media exposure, as ESPN, ABC, NBC, Fox and Sports Illustrated all highlighted Silent Night on their various platforms. Locally, teams from WANE 15 and FOX 55 out of Fort Wayne came to Upland for the game and produced video features.
Additionally, tweets from Taylor Athletics' X account, @TaylorTrojans, amassed nearly 2.5 million views during Silent Night.
