Forbes and Brown Turn in Top Finishes for TU at Warrior Invite

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – A limited number of athletes competed for Taylor at Friday's Indiana Tech Warrior Invitational, with the Trojans turning in strong showings in four events.

Josh Forbes and Isaac Brown took the spotlight with a first and second-place showing in the pole vault, with Forbes automatically qualifying for Indoor Nationals with a mark of 4.75 meters and Brown provisionally qualifying at 4.65 meters.

TU's second-best event came in the 800, with Keenan Clegg and James Bates taking second and third, in front of Jonathon Roth in sixth.

Isaac Elkin turned in the other top showings for the squad, ending fifth in the long jump and sixth in the 60-hurdles.

Taylor's next meet will come on Saturday, January 20, at the Butler Invitational.
