KANSAS CITY – The NAIA released its 2024 NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors for men's track and field on May 21, in which Taylor collected 19 of the awards.
Ben Eiffert, Bennett Hill, Braden Bixler, Bryce Noble, Grayson Rasmus, Isaac Elkin, Jack Hammond, Jake Thompson, James Bates, Joel Mumaw, Josh Forbes, Lextin Willis, Luke Harber, Matthew Roach, Nathan Brainer, Ryan Hanak, Tiernan Bass, Zach McKowen and Zane Callison all earned the national academic honor.
The 19 NAIA Scholar-Athletes proved to be one higher than the 2023 total for the Taylor men, and the figure was just one shy of the top mark posted in the Crossroads League among men's track and field squads this season.
NAIA Scholar-Athletes must maintain a cumulative minimum grade-point average of 3.50 on a 4.0 scale, while having attended one full year at their current institution.
