Schuitema Shoots Par to Lead TU on Day Two of Purgatory Intercollegiate

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. – Will Schuitema shot an even-par round of 72 over the final 18 holes of the Purgatory Intercollegiate on Saturday but Taylor could not rally and ended fourth-of-11 in the team standings.

Schuitema soared up the individual leaderboard with a 72 on Saturday, ending fourth with a two-day score of 150.

While Schuitema was Taylor's lone finisher in the top-10, Tanner Conklin fired a 78 on each day to finish in 13th and Porter Dick ended in 19th.

Taylor posted a team score of 311 on Friday and 313 on Saturday to finish t 624 and one stroke outside of a top-three finish.

The Trojans will be right back to action on Monday and Tuesday, competing in the Blue Mountain Christian Spring Classic in West Point, Mississippi.
