Dick Named CL Men’s Golfer of the Week

UPLAND, Ind. – After pacing the Taylor squad at a highly competitive Blue Mountain Christian Spring Classic on March 24 and 25, Porter Dick was selected as the Crossroads League Men's Golfer of the Week.

Dick posted rounds of 73, 75 and 73 at the event, finishing 12th in the individual standings out of 92 golfers competing at the 17-team event.

The weekly award is the first for Dick during his young collegiate career and is the first for the Taylor men's golf program for the 2024-2025 season.

With weekly honors from Dick and TU baseball's Brayden Manning on Monday, Taylor Athletics now boasts 53 athlete-of-the-week honors from the CL, WHAC and MSFA during 2024-2025.

Dick and Taylor will resume the spring schedule on April 14 at the Kampen-Cosler Invitational in West Lafayette, Indiana.
