
Hesting Earns Second Crossroads League Weekly Honor

JACKSON, Mich. – Taylor's Liam Hesting was honored as the Crossroads League Field Athlete of the Week on Monday, earning his second CL weekly honor of the 2022 track and field campaign.
Hesting, a standout thrower from Columbia City, Indiana, was honored with the award after turning in impressive first and second-place performances at the Huntington Invitational last Thursday. The junior launched the hammer 54.55-meters to take first place in the hammer throw. Hesting posted in a second-place finish in the shot put, recording a mark of 14.56-meters, and a second-place finish in the discus throw, claiming a distance of 40.94-meters.
Hesting previously received this award back on March 28 after his stellar performances at the Emory Invite.
The Taylor track and field teams will be back in action next weekend for the Little State Championships in Marion, Indiana on April 22 and 23.
