
TU Volleyball Collects Program-Record 10 Scholar-Athlete Awards
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Taylor volleyball team continued its excellence in the classroom, with its 2024 squad collecting a program-record 10 NAIA Women's Volleyball Scholar-Athlete awards.
That figure put the Trojans among the upper echelons of the Crossroads League, tying for the third most in the conference.
Multiple-time Scholar-Athletes from the 2024 season for TU volleyball were Alli Pflugner, Tori Kik, Chloe Holtz, McKaylah Flagle, Jen Springer, Sarah Scott and Reagan Salzbrenner. Meanwhile, Hannah Hosford, Suzanne Storey and Lindsay Springer earned the academic honor for the first time.
To be eligible for an NAIA Scholar-Athlete award, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale while having attended one full year at their current institution.
