Kasitz Brothers Pace Trojans in South Bend

SOUTH BEND – Adam and Kyle Kasitz finished fourth and sixth to lead No. 12 Taylor to a third-place finish at the 13-team Battle at Blackthorn on September 29 and 30.

The Trojans opened with a 293 on Friday to lead the pack but slipped two spots in the standings on Saturday, despite firing a 288. TU finished at 581 overall, two shots shy of Grace and six-strokes back of champion Bethel.

Adam Kasitz led the way for the Trojans with a two-round score of 143 to end in fourth, while Kyle Kasitz posted a 144 to finish in sixth. Austin Davis ended in 12th and Tanner Conklin took 14th to round out TU's top-four.

No. 12 Taylor (31-6) will return to action on October 9 and 10 at the Memphis Shootout in Tennessee.
