
Taylor Men Claim Five All-Crossroads League Honors

JACKSON, Mich. – The Crossroads League recently announced its 2023-2024 All-CL honors for men's golf, with TU's Will Schuitema, Adam Kasitz, Austin Davis, Kyle Kasitz and Tanner Conklin all receiving recognition.
Schuitema was named First-Team All-Crossroads League for his first postseason honor in his two years in Upland. Schuitema led Taylor with a scoring average of 74.5 and was TU's top performer in three-of-12 events. In those 12 tournaments, Schuitema posted nine top-20 efforts.
Adam Kasitz joined Schuitema on the All-CL First-Team, repeating the honor and earning his third-straight All-CL award after carding a 74.9 scoring average over 29 rounds. The senior led TU with seven rounds of par-or-better and was TU's top finisher four times in 12 team outings.
Davis was named as an Honorable Mention All-CL standout for his first postseason nod. In his final season with the Trojans, Davis averaged a 74.7 over 29 rounds, led Taylor in three tournaments and fired six rounds of par-or-better.
Kyle Kasitz also earned his first All-CL award as an Honorable Mention selection. The second-year Trojan played all 29 rounds for TU and posted a scoring average of 75.1, while leading TU in two outings and securing the squad's lone medalist honor of the season.
Conklin impressed in his first collegiate season, playing to Honorable Mention All-CL attention with a 76.5 scoring average over 27 rounds. Conklin finished well, ending among TU's top-three performers in each of the team's final three tournaments.
The play of Schuitema, Kasitz, Davis, Kasitz and Conklin helped Taylor to a second-place finish at the Crossroads League Championships. Throughout the season, TU posted a head-to-head mark of 112-31-1, earned a top-three finish in seven-of-12 tournaments and posted a team scoring average of 296.1
Taylor is set to bring back Schuitema, Kyle Kasitz and Conklin among six projected returners for the 2024-2025 season, with the Trojans eyeing their seventh Crossroads League Championship in the past nine years.
