TU Men’s Golf Claims Six Scholar-Athlete Awards

KANSAS CITY – The Taylor men's golf team picked up six academic honors recently, as Matthew Albright, Austin Davis, Adam Kasitz, Tommy McWatters, Will Schuitema and Lance VanErmen were all named as NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

Albright, Davis, Kasitz, McWatters, Schuitema and VanErmen were among a list of 380 NAIA men's golf student-athletes to be named a Scholar-Athlete.

The award is given to student-athletes who maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, while having attended one full year at their current institution prior to the completed season.
