Bio
2017-2018 at Taylor: As a sophomore, Cheng competed in the No. 6 singles slot bringing home a dual match record of 5-5 and an overall record of 5-7. He also appeared in seven doubles contests with a pair of partners and landed four wins to three losses. Cheng was also one of four Trojans to bring home ITA All-Academic Team honors.
2016-2017 at Taylor: During his first season at TU, Cheng accumulated five wins in singles action and finished with an overall 5-8 mark. Cheng finished with a pair of league wins to just one loss while competing in the No. 5 and No. 6 positions. For his work in the classroom, Cheng earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors.
Prep: A native of Taipei, Taiwan, Cheng attended Trinity Catholic High School in Hutchinson, Kansas. Cheng finished his high school career with all-conference, all-state and league champion honors.
