TU Women’s Golf Ranked No. 13 in Preseason Poll
KANSAS CITY – The Taylor women's golf team will enter its 2023-2024 season ranked in the NAIA Top-25, after coming in at No. 13 in the Preseason Poll.
TU collected 322 points in the poll, for the second-highest position of any Crossroads League member.
Taylor posted a head-to-head mark of 81-41 during the 2022-2023 campaign, finishing among the top-five teams in 10 of its 11 tournaments. TU closed the year finishing second at the Crossroads League Championships and 20th at the NAIA National Championships.
The Trojans bring back all but two members from that squad, including NAIA All-American and CL Player of the Year, Shayne Lim. Joining Lim in the familiar lineup will be returning All-CL standouts Ellie Beavins, Margarita Garrido and Elizabeth Kemper.
Taylor will open its fall season at the Players Club Invitational in Yorktown, Indiana on September 1 and 2.
