Trojans Finish Fourth at Saints Classic

NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The Taylor women's golf team wrapped up its two-day showing at the Saints Classic, ending fourth in the nine-team field.

No. 13 Taylor posted a 36-hole total of 651, finishing 36 shots back of No. 10 Indiana Wesleyan for the top spot and also behind RV Grace (630) and No. 24 Bethel (646).

Shayne Lim battled back after a slow opening round to fire a 75 on Tuesday that pushed the sophomore into 11th on the player leaderboard.

Margarita Garrido, Alyssa Schmidt and Ellie Karst followed Lim in the standings, finishing in 16th, 19th and 21st.

No. 13 Taylor (24-4) will close its fall season on October 13 and 14 at the Delaware Country Club Fall Invitational.
