UPLAND, Ind. – The NAIA and WGCA recently announced their Women's Golf All-American Teams, with Taylor's Shayne Lim being named a NAIA First-Team All-American and a WGCA Second-Team All-American.
Lim was a Third-Team All-American and Crossroads League Champion as a freshman and improved on that impressive rookie campaign by finishing eighth on the individual leaderboard at the 2024 NAIA National Championships.
On her way to becoming an All-American for the second time in as many collegiate seasons, Lim was Taylor's top finisher at 10-of-12 tournaments during the 2023-2024 year, posting four first-place finishes and an average individual finish of 4.5.
Lim played all 27 rounds over her 12 events, averaging an 18-hole score of 75.8 and carding four rounds of par-or-below. Lim finished inside the top-five in all but three tournaments and finished among the top-20 in all 12 outings.
In addition to her NAIA and WGCA All-American accolades, Lim repeated as a First-Team All-Crossroads League selection, was named to the Crossroads League Championships All-Tournament Team and was a four-time CL Women's Golfer of the Week.
Lim is the fourth student-athlete to be named a NAIA All-American in the history of TU women's golf, with her second award bumping TU's program total to 11. All 11 NAIA All-American honors have come since 2018.
