JACKSON, Mich. – The Crossroads League announced its season awards on Monday, with four Trojans recognized on the All-Crossroads League Teams.
Audrey Grimm, Brooke Cimini, and Morgan Fletemeyer were named First-Team All-Crossroads League selections, with Lauren Collins earning Honorable Mention recognition.
Grimm capped her time in purple and grey with an incredible season, which saw her named All-CL First Team for a second-consecutive season. Grimm scored eight goals and provided four assists while starting 16 games for TU. The sensational senior ended her career with 27 goals, 10 assists, and 64 points, as she finished sixth in program history in both goals scored and total points while ending in a tie for second in game-winners with nine.
Fletemeyer had another incredible season as a holding midfielder for Taylor. The junior scored five goals and provided one assist while controlling the possession and launching the Trojans forward to attack. The junior held the keys to ball control and was phenomenal for TU in her role, barely leaving the pitch.
Cimini was a force on the backline for Taylor and made it difficult for opposing teams to get a shot off with her terrific closing speed and positioning on the pitch. The Las Vegas, Nevada native helped TU post six shutouts, including a massive one in a 1-0 win over No. 10 Marian, which is the highest-ranked win in program history. The junior defender also delivered four assists and took most of the corner and free kicks for the squad.
Collins collected her third All-League award after earning First-Team honors in her sophomore campaign and Honorable Mention a year later. The senior scored a pair of goals and capped her career with 14 goals and four assists as an attacking midfielder who used her skill to maneuver in the opposing half of the field.
