The 2023 season marks Morgan Orme’s third as an assistant for TU’s women’s soccer team. Orme joined head coach Scott Stan’s staff following her graduation from Taylor in 2021, where she was a remarkable student-athlete in the women’s soccer program.

During her playing days, Orme made 10 starts in 2017 as a freshman at Taylor. Orme appeared in all 19 matches for the Trojans during her junior season, posting career-highs in several statistical categories and ranking tied for 19th in the Crossroads league with 1.11 shots on goal per contest.

Orme’s senior year was her finest at TU. In 2020-2021, Orme set career highs in goals (7), assists (8), points (22), shots (33) and shots on goal (22), an effort which netted her First-Team All-Crossroads League honors. Additionally, in late October of her senior season, Orme was named the Crossroads League Offensive Player of the Week after recording two goals, five assists and nine points in a pair of victories over Bethel.

Orme is the daughter of Paul and Jessica Orme and is a native of Waynesville, Ohio.
