NEW ORLEANS – The Taylor women's indoor track and field team continued its climb up the USTFCCCA NAIA ratings index, surging up to No. 8 on the heels of its runner-up finish at the Crossroads League Championships.
The Trojans hauled in 21 All-Crossroads League honors spread over 11 events at the league meet and added one new school record to go with nine national-qualifying marks over the two-day event.
For the regular season, Taylor saw 11 different athletes hit at least one A-standard mark in an individual event or as part of a relay and set two new program records.
Taylor will look to finish its indoor season well when its national qualifiers head to Brookings, South Dakota to compete in the NAIA National Championships from February 29 through March 2.
