Taylor Picks Up 65 Academic All-CL Honors for Spring Semester

JACKSON, Mich. – The Academic All-Crossroads League spring semester awards were announced on Thursday, with Taylor posting 65 of the 517 honors from the sports of basketball, track, cheer, golf, baseball and softball.

The Taylor track and field teams led the way for the Trojans, with the men's and women's teams combining for 28 honors. The TU men's golf and competitive cheer teams were also well represented with nine and eight All-CL accolades.

In order to be eligible for Academic All-CL recognition, a student-athlete must have reached junior status academically with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 at the completion of the semester in which they competed. Individuals must have also been on their team's roster for the entire season and must be nominated by their institution.

Taylor closed the 2022-2023 year with 97 Academic All-Crossroads League honors and with a total of 129 academic all-league awards.
