Direct Contact for M/W Cross Country, Volleyball, Women’s Basketball, Baseball and Men's Outdoor Track

The 2024-2025 year is Gabe Stoesz's second as a member of the sports information staff at Taylor. He currently serves as the primary contact for men's and women's cross country, volleyball, women’s basketball, baseball and men’s outdoor track and field.

Stoesz was born and raised in southern Minnesota, where he also graduated from Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, Minnesota, in December 2022, with a bachelor of arts in communication. During his time at Bethany, Stoesz was a five-year member of the golf team, which participated in the NCAA Division III National Championship in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida, in the spring of 2022.

Stoesz completed an internship in sports information at Bethany during his senior year. Over the course of the internship, he wrote many game recaps for men’s and women’s basketball, baseball and softball. He also wrote various feature articles on Bethany’s athletes, co-hosted an athletics podcast, assisted with public address and ran live stats for baseball and softball, among other duties.

As a student-worker, Stoesz gained additional athletic communications experience in the sports of volleyball and men’s and women’s soccer. Furthermore, he served as a writer and editor for Bethany’s student-run newspaper for three years.

In his free time, Stoesz enjoys playing golf, shooting hoops and watching live sporting events. He follows the Minnesota Twins, Timberwolves and Green Bay Packers closely during their respective seasons. A middle child, Stoesz is a natural goofball who loves to laugh and enjoy the company of friends while grabbing a bite (or 30) to eat.
