JACKSON, Mich. – Justin Devlin, Levi Yoder, and Sam Spiegel were recognized as All-Crossroads League selections on Monday after the upperclassmen turned in terrific campaigns.
All three were All-Crossroads League Honorable Mention selections and helped lead the team under Interim Head Coach Drew Glover in his first year at the helm.
Devlin was recognized for a second-straight season, leading the Trojans in points again with 12. The midfielder found the back of the net four times while assisting others on a quartet of goals. Devlin was also the leader of the backline, as Taylor held seven opponents to one or fewer goals during the 2024 season. The junior's versatility was vital for the Trojans as he sent in corner and free kicks while captaining the squad with vocal leadership from the back.
Yoder held down the middle of the pitch as a defensive midfielder in his fourth year at TU. The senior was vital in ball control and protecting the backline while also advancing the ball forward to start attacks. The senior provided his second career assist and started 67 of 70 games throughout his career in the Purple and Grey.
Spiegel was terrific in between the posts for Taylor, posting 63 saves in 10 matches for 6.3 saves per match, which led the CL and placed in the top 15 of the entire NAIA of keepers with at least ten games played. The senior played over half of his matches against teams ranked or receiving votes this season and posted a season-high 11 saves in a win over Mount Vernon Nazarene.
