Men's Tennis Heads into Postseason Play
UPLAND, Ind. – The TU men's tennis team will kick off their postseason schedule on Tuesday when the Trojans head to Winona Lake to take on the Lancers of Grace College.
Taylor (7-5, 4-5) will enter the 2019 Crossroads League Tournament as the sixth seed and will square off in round one against third-seeded Grace (8-3, 7-2). During the regular season, TU and GC met back on September 12th where the Lancers came away with a 4-0 victory.
The winner of the Taylor/Grace contest will move onto the semifinals and will face the winner of the quarterfinal match between second-seeded Marian and seventh-seeded Spring Arbor. The semifinal round will be played on October 3rd and will be hosted by the highest seeded team in the matchup. The final round of the tournament will take place on October 6th.
The remainder of the postseason field will feature top-seeded Indiana Wesleyan, fourth-seeded Goshen, fifth-seeded Huntington and eighth-seeded Saint Francis.
