
Trojans Ranked No. 21 in NAIA Top-25 Poll
KANSAS CITY – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released its fourth poll of the regular season for women's golf on Friday, with Taylor slipping one position in the rankings to No. 21.
The Trojans saw a seven-point increase in their point total over the prior poll with 200 points in the most recent edition, but slipped one spot in the Top-25 Poll.
Taylor competed in a pair of events between the two polls, taking sixth-of-10 in a loaded field at the Dalton State Invitational on April 8, before securing its fifth team title of the year with a 16-stroke victory at the Ackerman-Allen Shootout on April 15.
TU has now finished first or second in the team standings in seven of its nine outings with an average team finish of 2.1 in those nine tournaments.
No. 21 Taylor will play again on Monday, April 22 at the Sagamore Invitational in Noblesville, Indiana.
