
Trio of Trojans Named NAIA Scholar-Athletes

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) recently announced its list of 2019 Daktronics Women's Tennis Scholar-Athletes with Taylor's Courtney Clark, Molly Fletchall and Alexa Kling making the list.
In order to be named a NAIA Scholar-Athlete, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status at their current institution.
Fletchall, Kling and Clark are among the 155 women's tennis student-athletes from around the nation to be named as 2019 NAIA Scholar-Athletes and were three of the 23 student-athletes from the Crossroads League to be recognized.
TU went 11-7 during the 2018-2019 season and finished with a 6-3 mark in league play. In postseason action, the Trojans lost in the league quarterfinals to Grace College.
