In singles play, TU had four ladies compete in the main draw. Molly Pile and Katelyn Gray both battled their way to the round of 32 with opening wins before falling to ranked opponents in round two. On Friday, both ladies landed one more win before falling in the quarterfinals of the bracket.
The Trojans also saw four additional ladies compete in the 'B' bracket. Julia Hofmeister led TU in the bracket, winning back-to-back matches on Thursday but fell in her first match on Friday.
On the doubles court in the main draw, Martin and Pile tag teamed to pick up TU's lone win but were unable to survive or advance on Friday. Gray and Riegsecker were bumped into the consolation bracket after an 8-3 loss in their first match and finished their weekend with another tough 8-2 decision on Friday.
In the 'B' draw, TU's Maria Briz and Ellen Durling made their way to the championship match after drawing a bye followed by an 8-6 win over Cook and Houck from IU East. In the finals, the tandem recorded an 8-2 win over Clayborne and Landis from Mount Vernon.
